In the first paragraph of chapter VI, it mentioned the concept of space cannot be separate, which is united by physical, mental, and social meaning.
The physical concept of space can be explained to exist objectively. Three elements mentioned in the article to explain the substance of this cosmos: energy, space, and time could also be explained by geometric setting Three-dimensional space which has 3 values for determining a position in the space.
Mental and social meanings are given by human beings. Like what Henri Lefebvre mentioned in the article about human habitats (social), like towns, cities, or urban spaces are defined by planners and economists which have social meaning. At the same time, people living in this world all agree on these given social meaning. However, mental conception is more individually for each one which cannot be defined accurately.
Due to the development of the internet, a new form of space comes out - cyberspace, which first appeared in science- fiction literature in the 1980s. It also could be an explanation of the mental conception of space since its not exist in the material world. For this term, I will mainly focus on cyberspace to create a comfort zone for me by this concept.
